Bonus Dreyfus-Time: Taoism

Like many teachers, I have many diverse interests, and one of the joys of my particular job is that I get to use my time to explore those interests with students. So when I heard Miss McMillian say that "there's not much on Taoism in your book" I jumped at the chance to get involved.

Below is my presentation on Taoism. Please follow along while I read.

 
Now, use the philosophy of Taoism to critique your own ideas about reality, life, and morality. What are some distinctions you make? What things do you think are good or bad that maybe are just facts of life? In what ways do you find yourself striving against nature? What human ideas of morality have you adopted that stand in opposition to nature?
