Today began a year-long quest to become better story-tellers. First, some nuts and bolts software basics (watch until (9 minutes): We also need to think about basic filming techniques: Video 101: Shooting Basics from Vimeo Video School on Vimeo. We then tried to put these skills into practice by making a short, 15 second video. The challenge was: tell a story or a joke. Even in that short time, make it have a beginning, a middle, and an end. |
