The Winter Holidays

posted Dec 12, 2011, 1:06 PM by Michael Dreyfus-Pai   [ updated Dec 12, 2011, 1:06 PM ]
During the coldest, darkest part of the year, many different cultures come together to celebrate.  Christians celebrate Christmas, Jews celebrate Hanukkah, African-Americans celebrate Kwanzaa, and everyone celebrates New Years!  Let's explore these holidays with a BrainPop video!

The end of the year is also a good time to reflect on ourselves as people, and on the ways we would like to improve.  For the New Year, many people make promises to themselves, called New Years Resolutions.  Below, you can download a template to make a New Year's resolution.  We'll send these cards to ourselves in the future, and see next year if we kept our resolutions.
