3rd Grade: Body Systems Models

Today we're going to start a new project with the 3rd Grade.  We're using HyperStudio to make models of the systems of the human body.
  1. Get together with your group and decide which body system you want to model.  Your choices are:
    1. Muscular
    2. Digestive
    3. Skeletal
    4. Circulatory
    5. Respiratory
  2. Decide which organ or part of your group's system you want to model.  Your choices are:

    3. Muscular: Skeletal muscle, Smooth muscle, Cardiac Muscle, Muscle tears, Tendons
    Digestive: Mouth, Esophagus, Stomach, Intestines
    Skeletal:Bones, Ligaments, Cartilage, Joint types
    Circulatory: Heart, Lungs, Arteries, Veins, Capillaries
    Respiratory: Nose, Trachea, Alveoli, Diaphragm
  3. Spend some time exploring Hyperstudio.  Draw or insert objects and backgrounds, erase, and change colors.
