The internet is full of amazing videos demonstrating science! Let's see if we can apply what we know about physical and chemical changes to these videos. First, copy and paste the text below into a Google Doc:
Chemical Change Video URL: Describe the change: How I know it's a chemical change: What kind of chemical change is it?
Physical Change Video URL: Describe the change: How I know it's a physical change: What kind of physical change is it?
Steps - Next, find a video that demonstrates a chemical change.
- Copy and paste the URL into your doc
- Describe the change. What is the material like at the start, what is done to it, what is the change like, and what is it like in the end?
- Explain how you know it's a chemical change? Your textbook might be helpful here.
- Explain what kind of change it is. You might have to do some extra research. The video should say the name of the reaction or the materials. Try Googling them.
- Repeat steps 1-5 for a physical change.
