Now that we know how to log in to our Google Apps, we're going to using Google Docs to type up an essay. When typing up our writing, it's important to follow these rules:

  1. Use both hands to go twice as fast!
  2. Use proper capitalization
  3. Use spell check to correct or learn new words (control click!)
  4. Put spaces between each sentence
  5. Put returns and a tab between paragraphs

Question

If I could learn three things about my ancestors, what would they be? Why do I want to know those things?

Sample

I would like to know three things about my ancestors. First, I would like to know what town my mother's ancestors lived in. I would like to know this because I would like to visit it someday and stand where they stood. Next, I would like to know what kind of work they did. Were they farmers, herders, shopkeepers, or lawyers? I want to know this because I am curious if they had talents that I still see in my family today. Finally, I wish I could find out more about my father's family. I don't even know what country my great-grandparents came from! I want to know this because it would help me understand my grandparents.
