Modern sculptures aren't just of people and animals! They can be all kinds of shapes, and they can look like other objects or just be forms in the air. To explore shapes, we're going to design our own 3D sculptures using Google Sketchup. Steps- Open SketchUp
- Explore using the orbit tool to move around the 3D space
- Draw a rectangle
- Use the push/pull tool to make it 3D!
- Explore the other tools: line, circle, follow me
- Use clicking a deleting to remove faces or edges
- When you're ready to start your sculpture, go to File--> New and start a new sketch
Once you've completed your sculpture, complete the worksheet describing the shapes it uses:
