Shapes in our World

Day 1
It's a great day for exploring! We're going to find all the geometric shapes around us.
  1. In pairs, find one of the shapes on the right out in the schoolyard
  2. One partner should point at the shape, and the other partner should take a picture of it on your iPad.

circle
cylinder
square
rectangle
rectangular prism
diamond (kite)
triangle
pyramid

Day 2

Using the pictures you took last week, make a movie of all the shapes!
  1. Open Educreations
  2. Insert one of your pictures
  3. Record over the picture, drawing the shape over it and saying "This is a ..."
